My torso too long??

I’ve never had this problem before but I feel like the inseam is too short or my torso is too long? I just need about another inch or so in length at the inseam… I purchased a medium.
I’d like to exchange for a large but just don’t wanna pay the shipping to send it back and forth.

This is adorable, love the colors and the style although, the button on the chest opens VERY easily. Not sure I can wear it.
